Barooga is easier to reach than you might think. Here's how long it takes from the major centres.
Take the Hume Freeway north, exit at Seymour for the Goulburn Valley Highway, follow it through Shepparton and on to Cobram. Cross the bridge into Barooga.
Head west on the Murray Valley Highway through Rutherglen and Yarrawonga. Continue along the southern bank of the Murray to Cobram, then over the bridge.
Take the Goulburn Valley Highway directly north to Cobram. River Gums is two minutes from the bridge crossing into Barooga.
Hume Highway south to Albury, then west on the Murray Valley Highway as above. A long but rewarding drive through some of NSW's prettiest country.
